Welcome to Alan Pennington Hunt, LLC. Hi, I am Dennis Gillilan. As most of you know by now, I purchased Alan Pennington Hunt LLC and the rights to it from Alan in March of 2008. Alan decided to retire from the landowner permit business and do more hunting! He helped with the transition of the business in all aspects, and continues to do so!
Colorado is one of the premier states for quality big game hunting. Colorado offers all different terrain to hunt big game, from the high mountains of the continental divide to the eastern plains. They all hold the opportunity to harvest trophy animals. Every unit in Colorado has the potential to produce 200+" mule deer. This being said, if you are a hard core serious hunter that hunts Colorado every year, or plan on coming for your first time, Colorado is a great place to experience the trip of a lifetime, or spend your yearly vacation in pursuit of trophy mule deer, elk or pronghorn.
When I purchased Alan Pennington Hunt LLC, I made sure to develop the same working relationship with Alans' current landowners as well as taking on several new landowners in some units we currently sell permits in and some units that we have never offered permits in before. I am excited about the future opportunities we have to offer and the wide range of permits we have available….we have something for everyone!
We will be facilitating the sale of Landowner Tags and Vouchers. Guided, semi-guided, trespass and drop camp hunts are also available with reputable outfitters and landowners.
I am also working on several things that will greatly help the do-it-yourself hunter who wants to do the research and the scouting, but wants to save as much money as possible…the guy that can't scout ahead of time or hire a guide. We are offering scouting packets loaded with the maps you need and information that is designed to save you time and money.
Changes This Year:
Hunters who have a deposit on a voucher will have a 10 day period once you are notified that the voucher is available to remit final payment, payable to the landowner who drew the permit. If we do not receive payment within 10 days you will forfeit your deposit unless other arrangements are made.
When landowner permit customers commit to buying a landowner permit, they will have 10 days to have the cashiers checks or money orders made payable to Alan Pennington Hunt LLC and the landowner or the permit will be resold. We request that all final payments be sent UPS or FED Ex Overnight.
